The Fireweed Socks are the first pattern in a collection of Fireweed inspired designs .. The shape and texture of this stitch pattern reminds me of the beautiful Fireweed plant that can be found all over my home state of Colorado, and many other mountainous regions across the world.

This pattern was written for 3 sizes (7, 8, and 9" foot circumference) however, I have included notes on how to easily alter the stitch counts to make any size sock.

Any Fingering Weight/Sock yarn will work for this design. A yarn with some degree of nylon content will prolong the life of your sock, however, there are plenty of amazing "natural" nylon-free sock yarns out there! I do recommend picking a yarn in a solid, tonal, or lightly speckled colorway - this will ensure that the texture pattern is not lost.
